The Ramayana Boutique Hotel and Spa is a new leisure development, since October 2007 it has been offering luxurious accommodation and spa facilities in the World Heritage town of Luang Prabang.
The Ramayana renovated from a large traditional Lao house, this grand old wooden house which is officially of ‘historical importance’ and protected by UNESCO was built in the 19th century by one of the early French settlers. It was later offered as a gift to Prince Khammao who used it as a meeting hall for the officials of Luang Prabang.
