Day 1. Cruise or kayak to our rice farm (../../D)
On morning, we come to pick you, to transfer to the peer where kayak or boat will await you to navigate down the Mekong (no effort needed). 4 hours for kayak, 1.5-hour for the boat.
We have full activities there. We are very pleased to welcome people to help, and to learn about most of people’s life, in Laos. Rice and Mekong are the 2 main sources of food.
You will learn by helping or observing, , helping, sharing and enjoying with our familial place.
Overnight at the farm (many options, from dorm to Deluxe room).
Day 2: Activities (B/L/D)
You can chose over many activities, such as learning the art of weaving the bamboo to make a little basket, we can welcome you for a cooking class showing you our way to make the delicious dishes, we will probably also have time to fish in our pound, during sunset time.
And of course, learning and helping at the rice field, sometimes driving the buffalo
Day 3: Hiking to Kuang Si, and visits (B/../..)
The fabulous Kuang Si waterfall is 6km by drive, but only 1.5km through a path. After 45min hiking we will arrive to the waterfall, and enjoy the swimming there.
We then come back to Luang Prabang. On the way, we will stop to eat an ice-cream made with fresh milk directly from this farm we absolute love, we will also visit the Traditional Hmong Museum.
We will then transfer you to centre-town, airport, train station, as you like.
